We provide care in more than 30 pediatric subspecialties, making us the largest and most comprehensive pediatric care team in central Missouri.

Pediatric Hematology and Oncology

Pediatric Hematology and Oncology physicians lead a multidisciplinary team of nurses and health-care professionals, who provide comprehensive outpatient care to children and adolescents with cancer, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia and other hematologic disorders. MU Children's Hospital and Ellis Fischel Cancer Center are both part of University of Missouri Health Care, so our health care team has access to the most progressive pediatric and cancer specialists in the area.

The Pediatric Hematology and Oncology division offers diagnosis, consultation and treatment for childhood blood disorders and malignancies. With a comprehensive hemophilia center, a sickle-cell center and membership in the Pediatric Oncology Group, complete diagnosis and care for all hematologic diseases are offered.

With funds received from donations to Children’s Miracle Network, Pascal’s Pals and other organizations, CBCU facilities include state-of-the-art patient care rooms, private consultation space, an infusion area, a dedicated procedure room and a multi-purpose activity space.
